About Edward
Edward is a Director of Aykroyd & Co and has 17 years’ experience advising clients on Prime London residential real estate as well as global commercial real estate.
Rather unusually Edward is both an experienced agent and a licensed Chartered Surveyor, having passed his Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors exam in 2007.
Edward was previously an Associate Director for a leading property agency where he specialised in advising clients on Prime and Super-Prime property throughout the Royal Borough of Kensington & Chelsea, as well as Belgravia and Knightsbridge.
He started his career in commercial real estate in 2004 advising large global occupiers including Mercedes-Benz, O2 and Santander on their property strategy and cost savings before moving over to residential property.
Edward uses his analytical surveying skills to good effect with an emphasis on adding value through refurbishment, development and short leases.
His strong connections enable him to view properties long before they reach the open market, negotiate the best price for clients, and closely monitor each transaction from start to finish.
